5 days until vacation! YAY! I can’t wait to feel the warmth of the sun. I’m really looking forward to some relaxing quality family time. Our weekends are always so full with each of us coming and going. The girls always want to bring friends with us to VT. It seems rare that it’s just the four of us hanging out.
While I am looking forward to some R&R, I do have some anxiety about the potential set back to all the body composition progress I’ve made following the macro plan since September. I’ll definitely workout every day, BUT the cocktails and larger quantity of food will surely take it’s toll. I’ll try to stay focused on getting the protein intake I need every day, but the carbs and fat will be a bust for sure. Thankfully I’ll just resume following the macro plan when I return and should be back on track in a week or two. Living life 8/20 is my motto.

Sheet Pan Pesto Chicken & Veggies (GF & Paleo): The recipe suggests serving this in pita pockets. I’m going to skip the pockets.
Fried “Rice” (GF & Paleo): I love the volume this recipe yields for minimal calories and maximum nutrients.
Slow Cooker Beef & Sweet Potato Chili (GF & Paleo): Sweet potatoes my most favorite food and I’m a big fan of chili. YUM!
